You receive a “403” error

This problem can occur at any point, but is most typically found during installation or activation of a subscription.

The most common cause of the problem is a firewall or anti-virus software blocking access to certain web addresses.

To resolve this problem:

  1. Disable any anti-virus or anti-malware applications temporarily and try what you were trying to accomplish again. If Affixa now works properly, please let us know which software was causing the problem and we’ll work with the manufacturer to stop this from happening in the future.
  2. If you are still experiencing problems, please read the list of of ports and protocols used by Affixa to help you in configuring your firewall.
